“Just before I wake, I hear your laughter. How I remember the smile on your face and the twinkle in your eye. If, somehow, I could stay asleep…we could hang out like we used to once upon a time. How I miss those days, those wonderful days.”
Losing a loved one is an experience we all face. The initial pain and emptiness is hard to bear. Soon, the days turn into weeks, the weeks become months, then years.
Grief becomes a part of our life. We move on with our life knowing that there is always going to be an empty place in our heart. At times, we cry and at times, we smile as we remember. They will always walk on the back roads of our mind.

Just beautifully said…thanks. xo
