We have four new family members, thanks to Bonnie. She has handcrafted these awesome bears from Caleb’s clothing. Thank you Bonnie from each and every one of us in our family. These will be treasured forever.

Caleb’s bears were challenging for the family and for me. Caleb was about three years old when he crawled through a neighbor’s “doggie door” and drowned in the pool. Death is hard to accept at any age, but even greater when it comes to young children.
I can’t begin to tell you what it was like to handle Caleb’s clothing, having seen pictures of him in the same clothing. I haven’t had a more challenging experience to create memory bears than the ones I created for Caleb’s family.
May your memories linger always…have a “family” weekend.
Those are so cute. I can only imagine how hard it must have been to make those not only because the clothing was small, but emotionally as well. God graces you with His strength everyday.
