The Reality of Grieving

When grieving begins its lifetime journey in your heart, the pain and sense of loss is acute. At first, there doesn’t seem to be any way that you will be able to adjust to the drastic changes life is presenting.

Family and friends are there to support you, but they too search for what to do or say. Each one has been touched by the death and are facing their own challenges to find a new reality in all of it.

Grieving is a lifetime journey and although there are family and friends offering support, it is a journey for one. When the room empties and you find yourself alone with your thoughts, the reality begins.

  1. Grieving is certainly a journey. It is amazing how you can feel fine and then something little reminds you and brings on a wave of sadness. The blessing we have as followers of Christ is the reassurance we will see our loved ones who also love the Lord again. Be blessed today and find a way to bless someone else!
