Eventually, in this life, death takes a husband, a wife, a father, a mother, a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, a grandparent, a grandchild, another family member, a friend. There is no escaping the grief of losing someone.

There can be some thoughts and guidelines that everyone can benefit by, but when we get to the depth of a loss, it becomes a very personal process. Each one grieves in his or her unique way. As each relationship is personal, so, too, is every loss.
