Every Loss is Personal

Eventually, in this life, death takes a husband, a wife, a father, a mother, a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, a grandparent, a grandchild, another family member, a friend. There is no escaping the grief of losing someone.

Though there is some common ground, each loss is personal to each one affected. There can be some thoughts and guidelines that everyone can benefit by, but when we get to the depth of a loss, it becomes a very personal process. Each one grieves in his or her unique way. As each relationship is personal, so, too, is every loss.
