With Death, Comes Grieving

There is no hope, they say; the worst has come. Only a short while, then you’ll be gone. The time has come to say goodbye. “It’s okay to go,” is what you need to hear. How can I speak those words to you? How can I not if I care for you. “It’s okay to go.”

For many, the chance to say goodbye is there; for some, death comes suddenly and there is no time to prepare. For everyone, grieving begins and that grief will last a life-time. There will be better days than others, as there is in life and loving. Some days, the death will seem like only yesterday. Through it all you will grieve as you loved.
