Preserving Memories

Memories are what you make them. As the years pass, memories begin to fade and details start to blur. A journal can preserve the thoughts and the handwriting of those in our memories. Photos and recordings are nice because they keep fresh the look and the sound of the memories from the days of old.

It’s important to begin to protect memories long before they truly become memories. Knowing that the scenery and the actors change with time is more than enough reason to protect and preserve your memories.

  1. One memory I plan on preserving for my kids are recipes. I am beginning to hand-write my recipes for them on recipes cards and plan on getting them a recipe box to keep them in.
