Etchings of Our Memories

I miss those days of yesterday,

Those bygone days that used to be.

The friends I knew so long ago,

And precious days of you and me.

Memories are made of living one day at a time the best you can and sharing the journey along the way. From a baby on, we take mental photographs of all we see as life unfolds its various stages and acts. We store these photos in the miracle we call our brain. There, they remain, for us to see.

At various milestones along the way,

We recall these photos of yesterday.

Always there for us to see,

These etchings of our memories.
