There are No Guarantees

The saying that “children should bury their parents” is the way it should be, but so often many of us, as parents, have already buried at least one child. The ages and circumstance vary…they are gone and we remain.

Life is unpredictable with no guarantees. Love each child in the present…make the most of each day with them. Thank God for each one as you lie down to sleep and as you hug them each morning. Life is fragile…there are no guarantees.
