Anticipating Death

Whether announced or like a thief at midnight, death comes calling. A sudden death is the cruelest as there is no warning; no time to prepare. An expected death related to a terminal disease, gives one time to prepare, time to say goodbye. As prepared as we may be, we are never ready; we can only accept.

Whether announced or like a thief at midnight, death comes calling. Even an unexpected death can be anticipated for death comes to us all…no day is guaranteed to anyone. Perhaps, the best way to prepare for that unwelcome moment of goodbye is to live each day the best we can and to love and appreciate those in our life; to live and love each day with no regret.
