Breathe In…Breathe Out

The shock…the void…the emptiness…the disbelief…the ache in your heart…trying to take the next breath…not even sure if you want to…these and more are the initial moments following the death of a loved one.

Life, as you knew it, is shattered beyond repair. Nothing will ever be the same again. How do I go on? How do I get through one day without them? How? Why? Questions with no answers at the moment…heartache with no end in sight; these are the mind’s thoughts when a loved one dies.

Only time, and more time, will bring any comfort to the grief you feel. Only time will help you cope with the physical loss of your loved one. That’s why you must deliberately choose to do one thing in the pain of it all; breathe in…breathe out…breathe in…breathe out.
