The sun comes up every morning, whether we can see it or not.
We take our next breath, whether we think about it or not.
Time keeps going, whether we want it to or not.
Death comes to all of us, whether we want it to or not.
We face death often in our earthly journey. Friends and loved ones pass on before us. Someday, it will be our turn. Someone will grieve over us as we grieve for someone today. Death, though not welcome, remains a part of life.
“There is a time to be born and a time to die…and a time to mourn.”
There is also a time of healing and a time to remember.
Grieving lasts a lifetime, but the pain decreases.
“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness” (Psalm 30:11)
