All That is Left

In a nursing home, for a resident to have and hold a stuffed bear would be considered inappropriate related to their age. So often, the therapeutic value of a simple bear is overlooked for the sake of misguided policies.

Remembering when that bear brought comfort to a small child, the child within reaches out for that same comfort. For many, the bear is all that is left.

Memory Bears, made from a loved one’s clothing, have the same therapeutic value. They bring comfort and sooth a grieving soul. For many the memory bear is all that is left.
