In the process of creating Memory Bears, as requests come in from families who have lost a loved one, I am watchful in making sure the process does not become routine or commonplace.
Each Memory Bear is unique and represents the love and devotion, the grief and pain of a family. Each request is always the first and nothing is mundane or routine with a family grieving over the loss of a loved one.
I believe for each of us, there are relationships in our lives that we allow to become routine. We lose the “spark” where it all began; we begin to take things for granted; we “fall asleep” to the “humming” of the daily routine.
For each of us, there is only “now.” I encourage us to rekindle that spark and make each moment as if it is the first. Live this way and there is no regret.
“May your memories linger always”
