We have four new family members thanks to Bonnie. She has handcrafted these awesome bears from Caleb’s clothing.  Thank you Bonnie from each and every one of us in our family.  These will be treasured forever.

Bonnie,

When I came home from picking my daughter up from school, there was a box waiting for me. The box contained handmade Christmas gifts for my children, Memory Bears. I couldn’t wait to open the package and when I did tears came to my eyes. The bears are beautiful and I can’t wait to give them to my kids. I hope they see these bears as a memory of my mom and their grandma. The bears made my day.

Thank you.

Bonnie:

When I opened the box and saw the bears for the first time there were tears in my eyes. The bears you made for my son and daughter in memory of their grandmother are incredible (Kathy’s bears). Each time I look at them I see a new detail. I can see and feel the love you put into making these bears. I cannot wait to give them to my kids on Christmas day.

Thank you for creating such special memory of my mom for my kids. I know it will be something they will always treasure.

Bonnie,

It was the letting go that caused the problem; to give up David’s shirts was like a loss. Only what I have gained in return is priceless. Bear is there to listen to the things that I can’t talk about, can’t say to anyone else. When I feel empty and alone, I hold him in my arms and find comfort.

Dear Bonnie, I was so impressed when I opened the box and saw “Tom’s Bears” for the first time. You did a wonderful job with some gently worn shirts! The family loved them and all said they felt that Tom was with them for Christmas. An unusual thing happened with my dog when I opened the box & took out the 4 bears! The dog definitely knew the bears were from her master. I didn’t realize how much of Tom was in the bears. Thank you so much, Bonnie. You do an awesome service to others.

God Bless you,

Barb

We love the bear created for my dad, Wally. A gentle and kind man with a love for God and family. His grandson sleeps with the bear and hugs it tight! Thank you, Bonnie!!

Ms Bonnie,
Just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to come down, meet you and your husband and drop off Chad’s clothes. My husband and myself greatly appreciate knowing his stuff is in good hands. I’m not a religious person (raised catholic but stopped practicing a while ago) but I do believe the God and some angels helped me find you. During this difficult time, we are comforted on knowing that you are making these bears with the love and care a mother can. Thank you again and looking forward to seeing the bears.

Hello Bonnie,
Thank you so much for making Brendan’s and Leo’s beautiful memory bears. As soon as I saw them I knew which one my daughter would choose (the one with the star on front) and she did. I still can’t make up my mind, I love them all. Thanks again and God bless you,

Hi Bonnie:
I’ve been meaning to contact you. When I received the bear, I just got so emotional, it’s beautiful! I can’t wait to give it to my mom. I’m going to give it to her tomorrow, because my sister is coming to take her out to lunch for her birthday, and since it’s so close to Mother’s Day, I’m going to have her open it tomorrow so my sister can see it as well. My sister lives over 60 miles away, and she won’t be able to see the bear up close.
I’ll take some pictures and send them to you so you can see her reaction! (and of course post them)The bracelets will be going to 2 people I know who have battled breast cancer (still trying to recover from surgery) and I know they will pass the word on.
Thank you so much for what you do! You have touched so many lives in such a profound way. It’s such a blessing what you are doing.

My mom kisses her bear every day when she leaves for work and hugs him when she gets home… She told me the other day the bear was her salvation… Thank you. Looking forward to seeing a few more new ones from you in the future. Xoxo. Blessings.

Hello Bonnie,
From the moment I found out that my mother was in her final stages of lung cancer, I knew I wanted to have memory bears made in her honor. I looked everywhere online. When I saw your website with all the beautiful bears and saw how personable you were, I decided to give you a call. I am so happy that I chose you!

Bonnie, I just wanted to let you know that the Memory Bears you did for me for my family were a huge success! All of the grandchildren loved them and our daughters were very touched and, after a few tears were shed, we posed for pictures with them. Thank you so very much for helping me to bring a part of Mike into our Christmas.

I just want you to know how special you made our Christmas with the beautifully made bears to celebrate the spirit and memory of my husband, Charlie, Dad and Grampy. My children and grandchildren were so moved and pleased to receive the bears made from the “fabric of the life” of someone so special to all of us. You are providing a wonderful gift. Thank you.

Thank you also for your Christmas card! I didn’t get mine sent out this year as I simply ran out of motivation.

I wrote you the longest letter you have probably received from anyone with so many “special” requests. You came through with all of them and more. I could not wait to see our Meme bears and when they finally arrived it was like Christmas morning! My first reaction was “WOW”, then the tears started rolling down my face. I could tell immediately who each bear belonged to. I love each and every one of them. They are each so special and have their own story. You did an “outstanding” job! I am so thankful for you and for your ministry. I can’t wait until every family member gets their Meme bear Christmas day. It’s going to be the hardest Christmas, being our first without my mom and the grandchildren without their Meme, but these bears are going to put a big SMILE on everyone’s faces. It’s going to be nice to be able to hold on to the bears for the rest of our lives and think of all our happy memories together with her. I can’t thank you enough for these beautiful gifts of Love.
    God bless,
    Kathy Copeland and family

  3. Bonnie,
You inspire me more than you could imagine. Your bears make me smile.
